In November 2020, we were able to support a new 81 senior household project in Vista for Wakeland Housing Development Corporation. These resident “Welcome Home” care packages consisted of a collapsible shopping trolley bag with home items and cleaning supplies.
The Grove is new community of 81 affordable homes designed for low-income seniors age 62 and older, located in the revitalized civic core of Vista, California. Developed by nonprofit Wakeland Housing and Development Corporation, The Grove has three stories of beautiful and functional homes, a ground floor lobby with lending library, and a multipurpose room with a computer lab, kitchen and space for community gatherings.
